    What we collect and why

    Contact details, delivery details and order contents when you buy or write to us; basic technical data when you browse. Nothing else.

    Read the full wording

    Information you give us

    • Order details — name, email address, telephone number, delivery address and the items in your order. Collected to accept, fulfil and support your order.
    • Enquiries — name, email address, optional telephone number, country, subject and message. Collected to answer you.
    • Group order enquiries — the above plus organisation name, quantity, dimensional ceiling and target date. Collected to prepare a quotation.
    • Mailing list — email address and your consent record. Collected to send the notes you asked for.

    Information collected automatically

    • Technical data — IP address, browser type, referring page and pages viewed. Used to keep the site available and secure and, where you consent, to measure traffic in aggregate.
    • Local storage — the contents of your bag are stored in your own browser so they survive a page reload. This never reaches our servers until you submit the checkout form.

    What we never collect

    We do not collect card numbers, card expiry dates or security codes anywhere on this site. Payment is completed on a secure page hosted by our payment provider and we never see or store your card details. We do not collect government identity numbers, biometric data, precise geolocation, or information about health, race, religion, political opinions, sexual orientation or trade union membership.

  3. 04

    Who we share it with

    Only the service providers that are needed to run the store: hosting, payment processing, delivery and email. We never sell personal information.

    Read the full wording

    We share personal information only with:

    • Hosting and content delivery providers that serve this website.
    • Our payment provider, which processes your payment on its own secure page and handles your card details directly. We receive confirmation of payment and the billing name only.
    • Delivery carriers, which receive the delivery name, address and telephone number needed to deliver your parcel.
    • Email and database providers used to store enquiries and send replies.
    • Professional advisers and authorities, where we are required to disclose information by law or to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.

    We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We have not done so in the preceding twelve months.

  4. 05

    How long we keep it

    Enquiries and marketing records for up to 24 months. Order and tax records for as long as the law requires. Then deleted.

    Read the full wording

    • Enquiries and group order enquiries — up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted.
    • Mailing list — until you unsubscribe, and no longer than 24 months after your last interaction with an email we sent.
    • Incomplete checkout details — up to 90 days, so that we can send the payment link and answer questions about an order you started. Deleted after that if the order was never completed.
    • Completed orders — kept for the period required by tax and commercial law in the State of Florida and by any applicable federal requirement.
    • Server logs — up to 30 days.
  5. 06

    Your rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR

    Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and the right to complain to a supervisory authority.

    Read the full wording

    If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland you have the right to:

    • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
    • have inaccurate information corrected;
    • have your information erased where we no longer need it;
    • restrict how we use it while a question about it is resolved;
    • receive the information you gave us in a portable, machine-readable form, or have it sent to another controller;
    • object to processing carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests;
    • withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the basis we rely on.

    To exercise any of these, email support@bagsluggagemore.shop. We respond within 30 days and may ask for confirmation of your identity before releasing information. There is no charge unless a request is manifestly excessive.

    You may also complain to your national supervisory authority. We would appreciate the chance to resolve the matter first.

    International transfers

    We are based in the United States and our service providers are largely based there. Where personal information is transferred out of the EEA or the UK, we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum with the relevant provider.

  6. 07

    Your rights under the CCPA and CPRA

    California residents may request to know, delete or correct their information, and may not be discriminated against for doing so. We honour Global Privacy Control.

    Read the full wording

    If you are a California resident you have the right to:

    • Know what categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes and the categories of recipients;
    • Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to the exceptions in the statute;
    • Correct inaccurate personal information;
    • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we do neither, so there is nothing to opt out of;
    • Limit the use of sensitive personal information — we do not collect any;
    • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. Prices and service are identical either way.

    Categories collected in the last twelve months

    Identifiers (name, email, telephone, postal address, IP address); commercial information (products purchased or considered); internet activity (pages viewed on this site). Each is collected from you directly or from your browser, for the purposes set out above.

    Global Privacy Control

    This site recognises the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information and as a withdrawal of consent for analytics and marketing cookies.

    To make a request, email support@bagsluggagemore.shop or call +1 5554329549. An authorised agent may act on your behalf with written permission.

  7. 08

    Children

    Under 13s may not use this site. Anyone aged 13 to 17 needs a parent or guardian to place an order.

    Read the full wording

    This site is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, and anyone under 13 must not register, order or submit any form here.

    Visitors aged 13 to 17 may browse but may not place an order. An order for a minor must be placed by a parent or guardian, who accepts the terms of service on the minor’s behalf. Our contact form asks for a parent or guardian email address where the sender is under 18.

    If you believe a child has given us personal information, write to support@bagsluggagemore.shop and we will delete it promptly.

  8. 09

    Security

    The whole site runs over HTTPS, no card data touches our systems, and access to enquiry records is limited to the people who answer them.

    Read the full wording

    Every page is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored with access limited to the staff who handle customer service. Payment is completed on a secure page hosted by our payment provider, which is responsible for card data handling under the PCI DSS; no card details are entered on, or stored by, this site.

    No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authority where the law requires it.

  9. 10

    Changes to this policy

    The date at the top changes whenever the wording does. Material changes are announced on the site.

    Read the full wording

    We update this policy when our practices change or the law requires it. The date at the top of the page always reflects the current version. Where a change materially affects your rights we will place a notice on the home page for at least 30 days, and where we rely on your consent we will ask for it again.
