Cookie policy

This page lists every piece of storage this site places on your device, what each one is for, how long it lasts and how to refuse it.

There is no advertising pixel, no retargeting tag and no social media tracker on this site. The only storage we set by default is what the bag and your cookie choice need to work.

Each section below opens with a plain-language summary. Open a section to read the full wording, which is the version that applies.

  1. 01

    The three categories we use

Strictly necessary storage runs by default. Analytics and marketing run only if you consent, and this site currently sets neither.

    Read the full wording

    Strictly necessary

Required for the site to work. These run without consent because the site cannot function without them, and they are never used to build a profile of you.

    • cabinway.cart.v1 — browser local storage, holding the item codes and quantities in your bag so they survive a page reload. Stored on your device only, never transmitted to us until you submit the checkout form. Persists until you empty your bag or clear your browser storage.
    • cabinway.consent.v1 — browser local storage, recording your cookie choice so we do not ask again. Persists for 12 months.
    • Hosting and security — our hosting provider may set a short-lived request identifier to route traffic and mitigate abuse. It contains no personal profile and expires with the session.

    Analytics

Aggregate measurement of which pages are used, to decide what to improve. Set only after you accept. No analytics cookie is set on this site at present. If we introduce one, this page will be updated before it goes live and consent will be requested again.

    Marketing

Advertising and cross-site tracking. We do not use any. There is no advertising pixel, no retargeting tag and no social media tracker anywhere on this site, and we do not share data for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Global Privacy Control and browser signals

If your browser sends a GPC signal we treat it as a binding opt-out. We also respect Do Not Track.

    Read the full wording

This site recognises the Global Privacy Control signal. Where your browser or extension sends GPC, we treat it as:

    • a valid request under the CCPA/CPRA to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information — we do neither, so the position is unchanged;
    • a withdrawal of consent for analytics and marketing storage, applied without asking you anything further.

We also honour the older Do Not Track header in the same way. Neither signal affects strictly necessary storage, because the site cannot operate without it.

  3. 04

    Managing storage in your browser

Every major browser lets you block or delete site storage. Blocking the necessary items will empty your bag on reload.

    Read the full wording

You can block or delete cookies and local storage for any site through your browser settings, usually under Privacy or Site Settings. Browser help pages explain the exact steps for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.

If you block storage for this site entirely, the site still works, but the contents of your bag will not survive a page reload and you may be asked about cookies on every visit.
